NTL are upping the broadband band stakes by offereing 10mb as standard by the end of 2006. Also to be upgraded is the monthly usage limit from 30gb to 75gb.

Though this sounds nice the Register is also reporting that the cable company will change the payment structure to your usage rather than speed. Ouch! Personally would rather have lower speeds and a set charge than that!
